The New York International Carpet Show (NYICS), September
18-21, has established itself as the new Fall market for retailers
looking to buy fresh high-end goods and to pick choice merchandise
for the 4th quarter selling season. Quality and design are key-words
in today's marketplace, with exciting contemporary designs and
sophisticated designer-quality transititional looks leading the way.

one convenient, central location -- the historic Armory on Lexington
Avenue at 26th Street near the Oriental Rug district. A free shuttle
runs between the Armory and the ORICA/Metro Rug Alliance van stop on

Opening Day is Tuesday, September 18th, from 1-6pm
and a Preview Reception sponsored by HALI and
modern carets & textiles magazines will be held from
1-3pm during buying hours. Hours on Wednesday and Thursday are 10am
